Its been a while...

Its been a while since I last posted anything so here is a short and sweet update on my life...

Eli is simply PERFECT :) He still as an Educational and Psychical Therapist but other then that he is walking and talking and into EVERYTHING

We got a house...finally no more renting and moving every 6 mths

Me and Josh are PERFECT..God sure has blessed me with one amazing family

here is an update

i have not posted anything in a while so i thought i would update on whats going on in the life of Eli. we went to his swallowing study they said some of what he eats is going into his airway/ he has slight aspiration which means we have to change how he eat, how much he eat. he has to have this jell stuff go into every bottle and any liquid he drinks he has to sit up while eating and we have to go back in 4 mths for them to recheck everything. also he is going to have to have a physical therapist come out to the house once a week along with an educational therapist. Eli turned 8 mths old on Sat. but is still not sitting up which is a main concern for me, but i know God has a plan for him. within the next  mth he is going to have to have to have his helmet check has another neurologist appt and his 9 mth old check up. then in 2 mths he has to have his vision checked as well. so we are going to be busy but its all worth it so my lil man will be well again :) well thats all for now after i get the pics from my camera i will have an update of pics :) 

well...

i have not posted anything in awhile so here is a little update....Eli is crawling now :) he has 2 teeth and is doing a lot better when it comes to eating his baby food. we decided to take him to his appt for his swallowing study still just to make sure nothing is wrong. i love my lil man with all my heart :)

not so much Eli just a few things on my mind

to start out with Eli is so loud and into everything lol but he is still so cute and i just love him

He has found new things to try and find...like shoes and tags (he loves tags he finds them almost everywhere and they got straight in his mouth) as you see in the pic above he is at the bar stools lol i just love him so much :)

now on to what is on my mind...today is the start of a new me. i got an elliptical last nite so i can now work out in the comfort of my home and not feel awful about going to a gym. also i am going to learn to crochet i tried to do some last nite and its gonna take me some time but i am gonna do it. i am gonna get back down in size i am gonna cut out the "bad" things i eat and drink as well. I WILL BE A NEW ME :) so starting today my habits are going to change and i am going to be happy and healthy

i am blessed beyond measure and i just love my family so much :)

i just love my son

My baby boy now has 2 teeth yes 2 :) he is growing up way to fast. He is 7 mths and still isnt crawling maybe soon. He is such a little guy and I just love him so much. He stayed with his grandma and grandpa Sat. night and of course they spoil him which he loves :) He also loves going to church as well he did great on Sunday. i just cant say it enough I love my son with all my heart and soul he is my world :)

Today...well really friday cause its almost 2 in the morn

It was a good day today. Eli now has 2 teeth in :). Me and Eli got to spend the day with daddy and have some family time. Its also nice to see ppl who instead of stare at him like something is wrong with him cause he has a helmet on, they ask questions and still say he is a cute little boy :) Days like today make me happy to be able to spend time with my family and to see all the blessings that God had giving to me and see how happy Eli is when he gets to spend time with daddy and to hear him say "dada" is so sweet and i love it. I love my family so much and I love God for giving me my family and I know that He is the one that is allowing  us to have days like today.

All about Eli

Where to start...well i guess I will start with this Eli was born 7-26-2010. We had to have an emergency C-section because he had no fluid around him and once they got in they found out his cord was around his neck. But by the grace of God we had no other problems and we went home 4 day later.


 Then at 1 day shy of 2 mths (after he got his 2 mth old shots) we got home from getting his 2 mth old shots and he had spiked a fever of 103 so I took him to urgent care and they could not do an xray of him cause he was to little so they sent us to the ER. once there they took him in done an xray and found out he had pneumonia, they said they didnt have the equipment to take care of him so they sent us by ambulance to Brenner's where we had to stay for 4 days 3 days for test because by the grace of God after the 1st nite they found no signs of anything wrong :) So we got sent home. 


Then we had to deal with the fact he cant use his right hand like he should so we again went to Brenner's to see a neurologist to see what could be wrong. they think it could be CP a very small case but still so they wanted to see us back in 6 mths but they called and want to see us in 3 mths so they can get a 2nd opinion on whats going on (will update when we see whats up).


Then after that we find out his head is misshaped and that its messing with his face. we find out he is gonna need a helmet which new is $600. this is where i know my God is so good. i was worried that i would not have the money to get him what he needed so i asked a friend for prayer, she then asked her other friends for prayer, and within less the 24 hrs a friend of hers who she had not spoken to in years said that God blessed them with the money when they needed it and she thought she would help us by giving us the one she had GOD IS SO GOOD. without God i know that would not have happened.


Now he is going to have to have a swallowing study done cause he has trouble eating baby food and spits up more then he should and he is going to have to have his vision checked as well but i know with God on our side we will get though this :)








PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD!!! HE IS SO GOOD!!!
